Seating plan integration and performance upgrades

Much has happened in the last few months - time for an update.

Take a seat - Seating Plan Integration ๐Ÿ’บ

Many have been waiting for this, and now it is finally here. The first events with our new seating plan feature are starting. Hereโ€™s what you can expect:
๐Ÿ“ Choose from already predefined seating plans for your venue the suitable seating plan.
โœ… If a seating plan is not available, we will be happy to create one for you.
๐Ÿ’ธ For the ticket categories defined by the seating plan, you can set a tax rate and a selling price.
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Depending on your preference, certain ticket categories may only be offered as hard tickets.
โš™๏ธ Seats can be blocked, commented on, or released again later.

Performance Upgrades ๐Ÿš€

In the past weeks, we have also taken the opportunity to do some house cleaning. Or in other words: We have substantially overhauled and improved our backend. What does this bring? With the upgrades and updates to our backend, a variety of functions will be possible in the future, the performance of our platform will improve significantly, and many bugs have been fixed. Since early January, the performance upgrades have been rolled out - and we are very satisfied with the results.

Essential Packet just before the launch ๐Ÿงฑ

Alongside the seating plan integration and the performance upgrades, we are also developing and testing a complete range of new features and improvements that we internally call the "Essential Packet." Throughout February, we will fully roll this out. Look forward to an improved checkout process, guest list features, further performance upgrades, new billing functions, and more.

Hey dear organizers, we have an update for you to make your event management easier and more efficient.

Sample tickets for smooth collaboration

Now you as organizers can download sample tickets or send them via email to others. Why is this great? Imagine you are organizing an event, but before going live, you need to get approval from an artist or a manager. With sample tickets, getting events approved is a piece of cake!

Attention: Newly created events are offline for now!

We want to make sure you maintain full control over your events. Therefore, events are offline by default from now on. You can go online in three ways: Simply activate the "Published" switch in the summary. Publish your event by responding to our approval email after completing the event creation. Send an approval email to the right person and let them go live with the event by using the "Publish Event" button in the email.

Sample ticket and admission control documents

We have attached the admission control document and the sample ticket in the approval email. This means you or your recipient can register in the stagedates scanner app super quickly, without cumbersome registration processes.

How does entry with our app work?

๐Ÿ“ฑ Download the app in the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
๐Ÿ–ฅ Log in to your stagedates account.
๐Ÿ“ Go to My Events - Permissions.
๐Ÿ Scan the displayed QR code, download it, or send it by email.
โ˜‘๏ธ You are immediately registered in the scanner app for your selected event.
โ˜‘๏ธ You can also easily unlock the app for your admission personnel via the QR code, without a lengthy registration process.

๐Ÿ’š Donation tool: Let's do something good together. We cooperate with the non-profit organization Green Music Initiative and offer ticket buyers the opportunity to support the organization's activities with a voluntary donation of 3% of the ticket price.
