How can I set up my conversion tracking?

Add Conversion URL 

For optimized evaluation of your event, you can generate a trackable link for any marketing activity. This link can then be inserted into the respective campaign. The click numbers and conversions will then be displayed in your statistics. 

Add Meta Tracking Pixel: 

The Meta Pixel sends tracking information to your Facebook Business account, allowing you to optimize your ads and target prospects effectively. You can create the Meta Pixel for your event to track page views/purchases. 

What is a Meta Pixel?  

Simply put, it's a code snippet that enables you to track and analyze marketing campaigns on stagedates. This means you can use the pixel to find out which of your campaigns actually convinces people to buy tickets. This way, you can allocate ad budgets more efficiently and sell more tickets.  

Setting up the Meta Pixel 

In the Meta Business Suite, the pixel can be set up as follows:

  • Open Meta Business Suite 

  • Access Settings 

  • Select Data Sources 

  • Add a Data set 

  • Create and name the Data set

  • Click on "Add Person + Connect Assets"

  • Open the Events Manager 

  • Access Settings 

  • Set up Direct Integration under "Conversion API" 

  • Generate Access Key 

  • You will find the Data set ID under Details

Linking with stagedates 

For successful use of the Meta Pixel, it must be linked with stagedates.com. To do this, go to My Events in the Promoter Area:  

  • Access My Events - Conversion Tracking 

  • Add Meta tracking pixels - Add Meta Tracking Pixel

  • Add Description 

  • Insert your Data set ID in "Pixel-ID"

  • Add the Access token (=Access token)

  • Save
