Future Demand, Forecasts, and Campaigns
1.1. What is Future Demand?
Answer:
Future Demand is an AI-powered marketing solution that enables organizers, artists, and venues to create accurate forecasts for ticket sales and automated marketing campaigns. With these tools, you can better plan the success of your events and optimize your marketing strategy.
1.2. How do forecasts work?
Answer:
Forecasts for your ticket sales and expected demand compared to benchmarks. You gain insights into expected occupancy on the day of the event and can tailor your marketing activities accordingly.
1.3. What is a campaign?
Answer:
With the campaign, you can create an automated marketing campaign for your event in four steps. You define the campaign goal, budget, target audiences (taste clusters), link your meta-accounts, and can generate AI-assisted texts and ads that are published on Facebook.
1.4. What costs are associated with Future Demand?
Answer:
When you use Future Demand, both the forecasts and campaigns are automatically activated as soon as you enable either of the two functions. After activation, a fee of €0.20 per ticket sold is incurred. This fee is borne by the ticket buyer and is automatically offset against the ticket fees. Advertising expenses are not accounted for.
1.5. How long does it take for the forecasts and campaign to become available?
Answer:
After a setup time of up to 24 hours, the forecasts and options for creating campaigns become available.
Forecasts
2.1. What data is used for the forecasts?
Answer:
Forecasts utilize historical sales data, benchmarks from similar events, current ticket sales, and demographic data such as venue and date to make accurate forecasts about Future Demand.
2.2. How accurate are the forecasts?
Answer:
The accuracy of the forecasts depends on the availability and quality of the data. Generally, the models provide very accurate forecasts, which are continuously improved through feedback and optimization.
Campaigns
3.1 General Conditions
3.1.1. How much should the budget be for a campaign?
Answer:
A daily budget of €10-15 is recommended to ensure sufficient visibility and reach for the campaign. The total budget must be at least €400.
3.1.2. How long should a campaign run?
Answer:
It is recommended to run the campaign for at least two weeks to allow for adequate analysis and optimization. The best average results are achieved with campaigns that run for at least six to ten weeks.
3.1.3. What happens with a budget increase?
Answer:
To increase the budget, additional taste clusters must be created. However, it remains a single campaign that distributes the additional budget to the already existing taste clusters. The distribution of the budget across the various taste clusters is managed by AI using A/B testing. A minimum budget of €400 when adding more taste clusters is required.
3.1.4. What is a "Taste Cluster" and how is it used?
Answer:
A Taste Cluster is a target audience category created by AI based on the interests and preferences of potential event attendees – as opposed to traditional methods which rely on demographic data. You can use these clusters in the campaign to specifically target the most relevant audiences.
3.1.5. Why is it important to create an event with the most meaningful information?
Answer:
The more detailed the event information, the better AI from Future Demand can identify appropriate target audiences and align the campaign more efficiently. Descriptions of artists, the location, and special event highlights improve audience selection and contribute to a more successful campaign.
Please ensure that the event information is reviewed and optimized as necessary before creating the campaign to ensure the best possible performance.
3.2 Meta Linking
3.2.1. What do I need to consider to link my campaign with Meta?
Answer:
You need a Meta business account, linked Facebook and Instagram pages, and an advertising account with registered payment details.
3.2.2. Do I need a Meta Pixel?
Answer:
No, the Meta Pixel is not required, but it can enhance the campaign through additional audience data.
3.3 Creating and Editing Ads/Media
3.3.1. How do the AI text suggestions work, and can I customize them?
Answer:
The AI automatically generates texts and headlines with various variations to make A/B testing as efficient as possible. You can review the created texts at any time and easily edit them if necessary to suit your preferences or also write your own texts if you prefer.
3.3.2. What are the technical requirements for media?
Answer:
Images and videos should have a minimum size of 1080x1080px and utilize an aspect ratio of 1:1, as this works best for all ad formats. Videos should have a frame rate of at least 30fps. The maximum file size is 30MB for images and 1GB for videos.
3.3.3. How can I achieve the best results through media?
Answer:
Up to 10 media can be uploaded per taste cluster. To achieve the best results, we recommend using as much variance as possible in the media so that Meta has different options for testing and the campaign can be optimized more effectively.
3.3.4. Can I edit my Taste Clusters afterward?
Answer:
Yes, existing content can be adjusted or exchanged at any time. However, no additional content (such as texts, headlines, or media) can be added to a taste cluster afterward.
3.4 Campaign Results
3.4.1. What do I see in the campaign results?
Answer:
The campaign results give you a comprehensive overview of the success of your campaign. You will see expenses, impressions, clicks, ticket purchases, costs per ticket, revenue, and the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). This data helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your campaign.
How long does it take before I see the first results?
Answer:
It can take up to 1.5 weeks for the first valid data to be available and usable.
What other key figures can I derive?
Answer:
From the displayed data, additional metrics such as the click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CVR) can also be derived to analyze the performance of the campaign even more precisely.
